Totem Tarot was my senior thesis project at West Chester University. Each year the seniors are given a word and this year ours was “creature”. I chose to do a tarot deck and use different totems as my creatures. Different totems symbolize different meanings so I felt that combing tarot cards and totems fit perfectly. The Box includes 53 playing cards which include the Major and Minor Arcana cards as well as a book which describes tarot cards and gives meaning to each card. The designs of each card are unique totem illustrations with background patterns. This was my all-time favorite project done during my time at West Chester because it really showed my growth as a designer and what I am capable of.
